About the Church

About Victory Baptist Temple

Victory Baptist Temple is a Church that is dedicated to helping families and individuals turn from their old life of sin toward a new life in Christ Jesus. We do this through the use of programs and through dynamic literal Bible preaching and teaching from our pastor and teachers.

We are an Independent Baptist Church, which means that we hold the Bible to be our only Authority in Faith and Practice.

We do support other Baptist organizations whose beliefs and goals are similar to our own such as Baptist Bible Fellowship International in Springfield, MO, Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City, OK, and Reformers Unanimous International of which we are a chapter.

Church History

Pastor Leonard Sissons started our church in October 1983 and we have been at our current location since February 1984. We currently average around 120 on Sunday morning.
